Lecturing and Courses
Charlotte lectured in music education at Homerton College, Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge from 2004 to 2018. She is particularly interested in making music accessible to all, irrespective of age or experience.
Charlotte offers a range of music courses that explore classical music. Courses are designed to help participants explore new music and find out more about the music that they might already know. Group sizes are small, to ensure an informal, friendly atmosphere that encourages discussion. Within weekly sessions, depending on the module of study, key musical works, composers and historical periods are explored, through guided listening and discussion. Modules often include visits by distinguished performers and trips to concerts in local venues.
